CACAO CODES emerged from ritual relationship with Spirit of Cacao.
What later became ceremonial chocolates began as a path of listening, ceremony, and direct encounter with the spirit of the plant.
Through journeys to Ecuador, cacao ceremonies, and seven-day cacao dietas, this relationship deepened into a dialogue with the presence known as Spirit of Cacao.
What began as personal ritual practice slowly revealed itself as a path that would eventually become CACAO CODES.

This journey began with a quiet but persistent call.
While living in Slovakia, I began to feel drawn toward cacao in a way that went beyond curiosity or ceremony. The pull was subtle at first, but it gradually became clear that this path required deeper listening and direct experience with the plant.
Following this call brought me to Ecuador, the land where cacao has been part of ritual and cultural life for thousands of years.
Through cacao ceremonies, periods of silence, and a series of cacao dietas and fasting practices, I began to approach cacao not only as a ceremonial drink, but as a plant medicine and living spirit.
These practices created space for a different kind of relationship, one based on presence, attention, and the slow unfolding dialogue with the intelligence known as Spirit of Cacao.

Over time, this relationship began to take form in the world.
CACAO CODES emerged as a way of translating insights from ritual practice into tangible expressions that could be shared with others.
The ritual chocolates created within this project are not intended as ordinary sweets, but as preparations that carry the intention of ritual and plant medicine.
Each chocolate combines cacao with sacred plant allies such as Sage, Rose, Palo Santo, Frankincense, and other botanicals traditionally associated with purification, grounding, and spiritual connection.
These chocolates are created in collaboration with the Slovak brand Dizajn od lesa®, founded by Paulina Brinichova, through which the ceremonial cacao creations of CACAO CODES are shared.
Through these chocolates, small rituals can become part of everyday life, moments of presence, intention, and reconnection with the wisdom of Cacao.
Each chocolate also carries an element and a specific intention, supported by its plant medicine ally. In this way, the chocolates are not simply flavors, but ritual preparations created for ceremony and conscious use.
The chocolates are the first tangible expression of this work. But CACAO CODES continues to unfold as a broader exploration of ritual, plant medicine, and the living relationship between humans and cacao.
